A section of busy 10600 South in Sandy will be closed this weekend as Utah Transit Authority construction crews work on the future Draper TRAX line.
The road will be closed between 335 East and 390 East beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday and should reopen no later than 6 a.m. on Monday.
UTA says the closure is needed to remove existing freight rails at the crossing and replace them with new rails for the TRAX line. The roadway around the intersection will also be resurfaced.
