Grim story at the D-News

The Deseret News has a story about a body being found near FrontRunner tracks in Sunset:
SUNSET — The body of a woman apparently hit by a train was found near railroad tracks Thursday morning.

Just after 9 a.m., a passenger on a FrontRunner train spotted what was believed to be a body along the side of the tracks at an intersection near 2400 North.

Officers responding to the area confirmed a woman in her 50s, believed to be from the general area, was dead. The name of the victim was not immediately released.

Detectives believe the woman may have been walking along the track when she was hit, possibly by a Union Pacific train. The woman was believed to have been hit between 10 p.m. and midnight Wednesday, said Sunset Police Sgt. Bruce Arbogast.

No one, however, reported an accident Wednesday night. The first detectives heard of a victim was when the FrontRunner passenger reported it between nine to 11 hours after she was believed to have been killed.

Investigators were questioning both Union Pacific and Utah Transit Authority employees Thursday to determine if they saw anything Wednesday night.
